Thank you to Kelly Ryan of the Boondocks Fishery in Red Bank for sharing her creamy and delicious macaroni and cheese with fresh lobster recipe (our mouths are watering even as we write this). It will be published in the Savoring the Shore cookbook to benefit NJ Sandy relief. The Boondocks Fishery was gutted by Sandy and hopes to reopen on May 15. There is a fundraiser for them on April 11 from 6 to 9 pm at the Oyster Point Hotel in Red Bank. The event will showcase a number of local chefs from the Red Bank area. Chefs and home cooks are invited to submit recipes to the Savoring the Shore fundraising cookbook by using the form on this blog or by emailing a recipe to savoringtheshore@gmail.com.
